Chocolate Caramel Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions:
Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up
A 9x13-inch baking pan should be greased
Melt the butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave
Melt the butter and add the sugar to a large mixing bowl
Mix well
One egg at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition
Add the vanilla extract and mix well
Mix the cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour in a different bowl using a whisk
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined
The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in
Spread out half of the batter in the baking pan that has been prepared
Spread out half of the caramel sauce on top of the batter
Smooth out the top with the rest of the batter
Add the last bit of caramel sauce on top of the second layer of batter
To make it look like marble, swirl the caramel into the batter with a knife or toothpick
In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs on it
For about 20 minutes, let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting them up and serving them
